DOMINICK APOLLO
Head Pastor and Elder
Indeed we are blessed to have Pastor Dominick and his wife Kim with us since 1990! He obtained his Masters of Divinity from Alliance Theological Seminary and Bachelor in Business Administration from William Paterson College. The love for the work of God and care we have known through him and Kim, who is a Dental Hygienist, is what we invite new members to enjoy. Raised as Roman Catholic with a dear mom who instilled faith in God in him, he made a personal confession of faith at the age of 15. God’s grace has kept his marriage to Kim beautiful for 37 years.. They are blessed with three daughters, Allyson, Elizabeth, and Kaitlyn, two son-in-laws Jim and Zach, and have added three delightful grandchildren to their family. Kim and Dominick are grateful to God for their family and the love of God at FRC where they serve as stewards. When asked why he continues to love FRC after 29 years, Pastor Dominick said, “The love and faithfulness to God, the love and generosity to one another, and the commitment to the gospel of Christ at FRC make pastoring a joy!”
ROSIE MINGOS
Elder
Rosie is a God-led believer, wife, mother and grandmother. She serves as Elder as well as Leader of the Women’s Bible Study and Adult Sunday School. Broken, depressed, suicidal and in need of salvation, God’s love and grace led Rosie in 1982 to FRC where Pastor David Henion shared the gospel message of repentance and reconciliation with God. She realised the need for salvation and asked Jesus to come into her heart. Oh what joy she began to experience as the Holy Spirit took over her will! God blessed Rosie with Phil, who has been her husband for 35 years. Anna, their daughter, is married to Adam and have three lovable children. For Rosie, FRC has been home for 38 years. Hear her, “In FRC I found the love of God and a supportive church family where I can use my gifts of teaching and evangelism to God’s Glory!”
JOHN MORAN
Elder
John is a Sales Management Executive who has translated his skills and talent into marketing Jesus through writing and singing songs for nearly 20 years. As a Worship Leader, his focus has been the advancement of Jesus' message of hope and eternal salvation through music. Growing up in Paramus as one of four boys, his mother would always remind him he is Italian first before being Irish. John, who was a science fiction fan, grew up Catholic. He came to know and walk with God in 1991, after a friend introduced him to Jesus through sharing about the Second Coming of Christ. John is blessed with his wife Jamie and three adorable daughters, Noella, Olivia and Ruby. Specifically praying for a 'Little House on the Praire' type of church, God led him to FRC 15 years ago through a friend. According to John, “FRC is blessed with an anointed Pastor in Dominick and a loving congregation espousing the love of Jesus.”
MARENDA PERRY
Elder
Marenda Perry was installed as Elder in 2020. Marenda comes from a strong Christian family and was baptised at the age of 7. After graduating from college in Music, she moved to New York City. There she worked as a Classical, Opera, Broadway, and Sacred Music Singer. This talent took her all over the world. Upon retirement, Marenda was led to FRC via an online search. When asked about her experience she had this to say, “I can truthfully say that God led me to where He wanted me to serve and worship." Marenda is blessed with a daughter, Noelle, and 8 year old grandson, Brendan. It was such a joy to see Brendan take his first communion at FRC. She has been a member of FRC for 10 years, during which time her faith has been strengthened as she serves in the Childrens Ministry, Womens Ministry and as a Prayer Warrior.
ELSIE O'NEILL
Deacon
Elsie has been a member of FRC since 1953! What more can we tell you about this body of Jesus Christ where many are blessed and find refreshing for their souls. Elsie became a Deacon in 2011 and has been serving selflessly in different capacities including Church Treasurer, Sunday School Teacher and Church Administrator. At FRC, children enjoy a special time as treasures in God’s vineyard; Elsie is in charge of preparing the "Children's Message". To glean from the Word of God and share with others, she regularly attends the Bible Study and Women's Care Group. Asked why FRC has become her first love, “FRC is a compassionate church; the people are very caring. My parents became members when I was 13, I love to worship the Lord here!” Before relocating, her son, his wife and their children also attended and served in FRC for many years. Her heart for those in need of special mercies has been a blessing to us at FRC.
JOE WAMSLEY
Deacon
Joe Wamsley was installed as a Deacon in 2020. He has been in the faith, serving the Lord dedicatedly since 1993. Joe came to The Lord through an invitation to church by Diane, whom he was dating at the time. His response to an altar call, during a service in Ocean Gove, NJ, began his new life in Jesus. A year later, he and Diane were married. He loves sharing God's message through songs; he has done this at FRC since 2002 as a worship leader. Joe's mom and son, Joey, were baptised in FRC and he cherishes the friendships he has known there. Joe found the love of Christ in the people at FRC and the message of redeption from Pastor Dominick Apollo. "FRC changed my life by giving me a purpose and welled in me a passion to share the love of Jesus with others."
